Audience Feedback
I am considering changing the top 2 sell lines on my front page. I am going to change them to something more informal so they relate well to the unposed pictures.

We Love Pop Magazine Deconstruction
This is the cover of the 46th Issue of 'We Love Pop'. I have chosen to deconstruct this cover as it is a complete contrast to the other two that I have already done.
The main image is of Youtube star Zoe Sugg (or Zoella). In the picture she is smiling and looks happy which creates a positive representation of her. It also creates quite a friendly feel for the magazine. This could mean that it is more likely for consumers to read We Love Pop. Sugg is wearing quite fashionable and popular clothing which is appealing to the magazines target audience (10-14 year old girls). This makes the magazine more enticing. The headline that goes with the image is 'Zoella 17 Ways to Win At Life!'. 'Zoella' is the largest word. This suggests her importance. This could also be a way of attracting readers. 'Zoella' is also in white which connotes goodness, innocence and purity. This could suggest that Sugg is a positive role model. '17' is in yellow which makes it stand out. '17 Waysto Win at Life!' is also in block capitals which could be a technique to exaggerate the importance of the story inside. This has the potential of increasing the amount of readers. The sentence is in black which connotes elegance. This adds to the positive representation of Sugg. The whole headline is surrounded by purple stars. This could suggest that Sugg is very popular and famous. It also emphasises her importance. Purple connotes ambition which relates well to the article 'Ways to Win at Life'. This whole segment is on a bright pink bubble. This makes the magazine look very bright which appeals well to the target audience. This colour is often associated with females and love. This means that the target audience of We Love Pop is clear.
The magazine cover itself is very crowded and bright. This suggests that there is going to be a lot of important/interesting information inside. It could also relate to the type of lifestyle that We Love Pop's target audience have (busy). The main colours used are purple, pink and yellow. Purple connotes luxury, Pink has feminine connotations (e.g. love) and yellow connotes happiness. All of these are positive connotations which suggests that the magazine is suitable for its target audience (it isn't rude or full of inappropriate content).
The cover lines on the magazine are all quite enticing. An example is 'Ariana Shock!: What's freaked her out?'. This is accompanied with a humorous image of Ariana Grande. This cover line will persuade readers to purchase the magazine and read the article. The image is also quite humorous and light hearted which suits the personality of the target audience (They don't take life too seriously). Another intriguing cover line is 'Rita's Secrets'. This will make the reader interested in what the secrets of Rita Ora are - this will also persuade them to buy the magazine. The image that accompanies the cover line is also quite intriguing - Ora looks quite shocked which intrigues the reader.
The magazine cover also represents both males and females. Even though the cover star is of a female, there are many cover lines that are to do with males. An example is 'Stereo Kicks are Question Crazy!'. By having content that is to do with males, it relates to the target audience as they usually have crushes on the male stars featured. 'The Truth about Harry and Emma Watson' is also used. The fact that 'Harry' doesn't have to have his sir name used suggests that he may be more important than Emma Watson. It could also be to do with the fact that the magazines readers are more likely to know who Harry Styles is as he is a very popular music artist.
Overall, I think that We Love Pops magazine front cover is suitable for their target audience. The colours, images and content all relate to what young girls are interested in. The general style of the magazine is also suitable. It doesn't look too formal, it looks youthful and alive.

I edited this photo by getting rid of the background and I also used Fotor to get rid of any blemishes. However, due to an error when uploading this post, the after photo has a black background (it doesn't usually).

To edit this photo, I removed the background. I also used Fotor to get rid of any blemishes on the models face.

I edited this photo by removing the background. I also used Pixlr to make the image black and white but changed the colour of the lips and hair to purple.
